Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and wonderful Holiday Season!
This Season was definitely one of my favorites to date! In addition to the big Dan Kane Singers show on 12/4 and some lovely concerts in Enfield and Agawam, I had the privilege of recording a few Christmas tunes for Real-to-Reel in the parlor at St. Michael’s rectory in Springfield. There I was beside the gorgeous Christmas tree, in that beautiful room, crooning ‘The Christmas Song’ (Chestnuts), ‘Mary’s Little Boy Child’ and ‘Silent Night’. It was a wonderful experience!
I also had the pleasure of performing Christmas tunes with my trio up at the Rendevous Lounge at Page’s Loft in Northampton! It was so fabulous to hear Keith’s and Joe’s brushes and Steve’s incredible keyboard on, not only ‘The Christmas Song’, but ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’, ‘Blue Christmas’, ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ and several others. Of course, we included all our favorite standards and pop tunes too! I’m having such an awesome time up there!
Thank you to everyone who came up to hear us in November and December. It was great to see folks out on the dance floor! You all made it so wonderful for us!
We’ll be up there again in February – on the weekend closest to Valentine’s Day. So, grab your honey – or some friends - and come on up and join us! Have dinner or maybe just some drinks and munchies and enjoy the music! We’ll be there from 7:00 – 11:00 PM on Saturday, February 11th. I’ll keep you posted on our March date as soon it’s set.

Hi everyone,
Well, the holiday season is starting!! I can’t believe Thanksgiving is this week!
I’ve been having such a great time at the Rendezvous Lounge at Page’s Loft in Northampton! I'm so lucky to be performing with the incredibly talented Steve Moser on keyboard. Steve has an amazing left hand which you’ll hear in his awesome bass lines on songs like Moondance, Don’t Get Around Much Anymore, Smooth Operator and so many others. Between the keyboard and the smooth brushstrokes of any one of our fabulous drummers, I’m in heaven!
Please come on up and join us! Have dinner or maybe just some drinks and munchies and enjoy the music! We’ll be there from 7:00 – 11:00 PM on Saturday, 12/10 and Saturday, 12/17.

Hi everyone, Happy Fall 2011! It’s been a shamefully long time since I’ve made an entry here. There’s gonna’ be some changes around here!
Can you believe it’s already October?! Those of us in the Dan Kane Singers group have been rehearsing for the Christmas Show for a month now! Hope you got your tickets because it’s pretty much sold out already.
I’ve got an exciting new gig at the Rendezvous Lounge at Page’s Loft in Northampton and I can’t wait to start! I'll be singing with the wonderfully talented Steve Moser on keyboard and one of my favorite drummers, Keith Levreault. (I love performing with a real drummer!) We’ll be serving up lots of well-loved standards and light pop. Please stop by for some of the Loft’s scrumptious fare or maybe just some drinks and munchies and check us out! We’ll be there from 7:00 – 11:00 PM on Friday, 11/4 and Saturday, 11/19.
In other news (!), this website is going to get a major facelift very soon! I hope you like the new look. We should have it up and running in early November. I think we’re about due, don’t you? This current site has been running since 2006 so it’s time!

Hello again!
Well, my CDs arrived a week ahead of schedule which just made for a very Happy Thanksgiving! We’re still working on getting the audio samples up on the website, but the CDs are now available for sale.
We’ll be selling them at the Mass Mutual Center on Friday night at the 30th and final Dan Kane Singers Christmas Spectacular. I hope you’ve all got tickets! It should be a really fabulous show for our last hurrah!
I’ll also have copies with me every Saturday at Sacred Heart after the 5:30 mass and anytime I’m at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit for Chalice. I’ll have them at the Munich Haus too so please feel free to stop me anytime if you’d like a copy for yourself or would like some to give as Christmas gifts!

Hi everyone!
I’m very happy to report that my new CD ‘You Raise Me Up’ is currently in Production and will be available for sale starting November 27th! You’ll be able to purchase it at the Dan Kane Singers Christmas Spectacular at the Mass Mutual Center on 11/30. I’ll also have copies with me after the 5:30 mass at Sacred Heart on Saturdays and at any upcoming concerts. Of course, the CD will also be available at my ‘Store’ on this website.
Christmas is right around the corner and CD’s make great gifts so please let me help you check off some names on your list!! ;)

Hi and Happy Fall!
Just a quick entry this time to say that my new CD ‘You Raise Me Up’ will be available for sale starting November 30th! I’m wrapping things up at this point with a deadline of October 15th to get everything ready for manufacturing.
It’s a very exciting time – and extremely hectic! So much to do in these last 3 weeks but I think the end result will be pretty good! So, when you start your Christmas shopping, please keep the new CD in mind!

Hi again!
Wow! Here we are at the end of summer. I guess I’m not a very good journal-keeper! This entry is just a little on the late side. ;)
Thank you to everyone who came out to see us at Storrowtown on that gorgeous July evening, at Stanley Park on that very rainy afternoon and at the East Longmeadow High School Field on that balmy night in August! Those outdoor concerts were lots of fun and it’s so wonderful to sing to such a friendly and supportive crowd!
For those of you interested in the progress of the new CD, I’m happy to say that it’s more than half done! I am planning a late November release, in time for the Dan Kane Singers Christmas Spectacular on Nov. 30th at the Mass Mutual Center.
So things are pretty busy in the recording studio these days and I’m very pleased with the way it’s turning out. I have some very special guests that it’s been a privilege to make music with – some new and some favorites from Sugar & Spice! There are several vocal duets with a couple of extremely fine singers that I hope you’ll love as much as I do!

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!
I hope you all enjoyed the 2006 holiday season. I had a really wonderful December; filled with Christmas magic and lots of music! It was great to see so many of you at the Munich Haus! That was a lot of fun!
So, here we are in the brand new year. I hope it’s a great year for all of us!
Progress continues on the new CD. I’m in the studio every weekend this month, which is great! The challenge is to keep colds at bay so the voice is worth recording. That’s serious ‘inspiration’ for staying healthy, I can assure you! :)
Several of the Dan Kane singers, including Yours Truly, will be at the Munich Haus on Saturday, February 10th for a Valentine’s dinner and concert. As always, it promises to be fun and festive with lots of good music. I hope to see you there!

Hello again!
It’s hard to believe that it’s already December 5th and that the DKS Christmas Spectacular is over for another year! It was a great show – so much fun! I hope that everyone who came to see it enjoyed it even more this year!
And the party isn’t over yet! December is full of fun musical events at the Munich Haus in Chicopee! There’ll be banquets with music and dancing upstairs as well as nights of caroling downstairs in the restaurant. Please check my News page for dates and times that I’ll be there. I hope to see you!
For anyone who’s never been there, it’s just gorgeous, especially at Christmas time, and the food is wonderful! It’s doubly festive with all the music and caroling. You'll love it!
Progress continues on the new CD. I’m looking forward to focusing more on it in January and February, once the holidays are over and there’s a bit more breathing room. It’s taking shape and picking up momentum with some wonderful new additions.

Well, summer is drawing to a close and the beautiful, busy season of Autumn is upon us! The days are getting shorter. There’s that sense of transition that late summer always brings. It seems for a while that summer will never end and then – poof – it’s gone!
For those of us in the Dan Kane Singers group, rehearsals are beginning for the Christmas Spectacular at the MassMutual Center. Sometimes it seems crazy to think of Christmas in September, but it’s definitely not too soon to start rehearsing! Of course, we’ll see many of you at various Inspirational Concerts before the big show.
At this point, I’m deep in the process of creating an Inspirational CD. I hope many of you will be pleased to hear that this new CD will most definitely contain ‘The Prayer’! I’ve really enjoyed singing it at the Inspirational Concerts and am so grateful for the warm response it brings. It’s a beautiful song and I love to sing the Italian!
I have a few other special surprises for this CD that I hope you like. Stay tuned!
